After a pandemic delay, the Society of the War of 1812 in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will host the national Annual Meeting of the General Society of the War of 1812 in Philadelphia from Thursday, August 4th through Sunday, August 7th, 2022 in Philadelphia. On November 1st, Deputy General Mabee and I traveled to Boston to meet with representatives of the New England Historic Genealogical Society (NEHGS). There we signed a long-term agreement to preserve, scan, digitize, make available online, and store the General Society’s Archives.
